Fernando Leal Cuervo

My experience as an educator began around 15 years ago at Colegio Nueva Granada, in Bogotá Colombia. An international school were I worked for 15 years, teaching graphic design creation and books and magazines planning, specifically the andean of the graduating class. I have also taught athletism as part of extracurricular activities for students, grades 5th to 12. I have also been a dance teacher, cross training and spinning instructor in the program of physical conditioning for the teachers. I have lead various academic field trips with students from grade 9th to 11th to: Paris, France, Beijing and Tianjin in China. I also helped and lead fieldtrips to La Guajira, and The Amazon in: Brazil and Perú, with students of ninth grade. I have been permanently involved as a teacher and substitute teacher in the high school and middle school in Colegio Nueva Granada, where I covered assigned classes for teachers during their sick days or their leave days, following instructions and class plans as mentioned. I take class assistance, and supervise the behavior and discipline off all the students.

Some of my skills and qualification are, excellent group management, I’m a fast learner and I implement the work plans and class plans to the dot. I can adapt easily to the language of the class, whether it be English or Spanish. I’m responsible and I carry-on with all the proposed activities, I have a physical and mental care for the group of the students. Implementing and respecting the code of honor in different situations.
